I am getting kernel.dll error ?

  • This error comes when you have windows version older than windows XP SP3.
    Please upgrade the operating system to higher version of windows (Windows 7 is recommended). For that you need to contact your computer hardware person.

Is it necessary to have INTERNET connection for Radix software GST Update ?

  • For GST update in RADIX Accouting Software, Internet is required on the computer where it is installed.

    Dear Customer, as you are aware that GST rules are getting updated day by day, so your software will be required to be updated quite frequently in your computer. 

    Secondly every month you will need to send/receive reports to/from your CA/Tax Practitioner for GST returns 3-5 times in a month. So anyway internet will be required by you for GST.

How to make a GST Sales bill or challan with new GST update ?

  • When you do GST update of your software and mark GST Applicable = "Y", the software puts fields like GSTIN, HSN, GST Amount etc in your existing Sales bill & challan formats.

    You can start making new Invoice by selecting "Sales (GST)" or "Sales Invoice GST" and using the same formats. In addition to that, we have provided a Standard GST Invoice format which you can use.

  • To update your Radix software for GST follow these steps :
    1. Open your software
    2. Go to --> Utilities --> Update Program -->Online
    Your Program is now GST ready. It will also show you how to make your sale bill.

How to View TDS Amount in purchase Register or job work Report?

    • Open the desired company and from the company main menu bar, 
    • Go to Reports-> Purchases -> Invoice -> Date wise / Party wise 
    • Select the report criteria like daybooks etc and select option 2 and tick on TDS as Column and click on "Show" 
    • You will observe that TDS column is appearing in report.

How to Freeze a Day Book?

  • To Freeze
    • Select Master -> Daybooks 
    • Then from the Company Menu open the daybook which you want to freeze and enter the freeze date in top right column of the daybook form.
    • Press Alt+S or Click on Save Button to save changes.

    To Unfreeze 
    • Select Master -> Daybooks 
    • Then from the Company Menu open the daybook which you want to unfreeze and remove or change the freeze date in top right column of the daybook form.
    • Press Alt+S or Click on Save Button to save changes.

I am getting message of Re-Organize Data when I Start RADIX, What Do I do?

Steps to run reorganised data process in Radix?


  • When you start RADIX after updating online/offline , You may be prompted to Re-Organize Data. 
    This will be prompted only once. 
    IF you select Cancel, you can run this again by pressing Alt-F9 on Main Menu.
    You need to run this only once.
    Re-Organize data is a process which refreshes & Cleans your Radix accounting data of unwanted details and provides better speed and accuracy. 
    We recommend to run the reorganize data process once to avoid the duplication of backups and remove unnecessary files to free disk space.

    Steps to run the Reorganize data in Radix
    • Take a fresh Data Backup of your all companies in any external drive (Pen Drive/ USB hard disk etc).
    • Remove all old backup files from you PC Hard Disk.
    • Close Radix program from all PC's (Nodes/Remote etc)
    • Run Radix on server PC and select Utilites on Radix Main Menu-> select Reorganise data (or Press Alt-F9)
    • Mark / Check the reorganize options (Select all if you do not maintain audit trail* or user working history)
    • Select / Click on OK Button to start the process.
    • Wait till the process is complete
    • Please note that don't start the RADIX in other computers or Nodes while the reorganize process is going on.
    • When process is completed you will get Confirmation.
    • If you have any question / query fell free to call our Support Team.
    * Audit Trail : Audit trail is used to maintain transaction logs of users activity

What is the SERVICE CODE?

  • SERVICE CODE is a unique 10 digit customer specific unique code always visible on the title bar of your RADIX software. 
    The Service code changes daily. 
    Quote this number to the operator for quick access to Call Support Executives when calling to TRIPTA for support. 
    This will identify you and your Software Version. 
    When you quote the service code number to the operator, mostly you would not be required to give your Customer code or Name etc. But sometimes due to technical reasons you may have to verify your details.

How To Delete Multiple Transaction (Sales, Purchase etc) Entries ?

  • Open the desired company and from the company main menu bar, go to Transactions->Sales->Invoice (or the desired menu) then Select the desired Daybook from Daybook Picklist. In this entry form, press “Shift + D” A form will come up, which will prompt for the range of invoice numbers to be deleted. please enter the data carefully. It is an irreversible process.

I want to BLOCK (or unblock) Cash Payment Entry when Cash goes Negative. How do I do it?

  • Open the desired company and then Select Utilities > Settings -> Co. Configuration Then Select "Warning Alarms" tab. There you would find list of actions to be taken by software "During Voucher Entry if Cash goes negative". Select the desired option (Ignore/Warn/Block/Get Confirmation) and restart the software to check its effect.
